The Team

Parker Brewster

CEO AND FOUNDER

Parker Brewster is a distinguished entrepreneur and innovator committed to transforming healthcare through clinical entrepreneurship. His journey began in high school with the development of a patented alternative to angioplasty, which formed the basis of his first venture, Innovative Heart Technologies.

He holds a Bachelor’s in Engineering and a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering with a biomedical focus and is currently completing his PhD in Biomedical Engineering. In parallel, he serves as Vice President of Research and Development for a company pioneering novel drug delivery implants.

Parker’s experience spans mentoring and launching startups, working across accelerators, venture fellowships, and formal VC roles. He has earned a full scholarship to VC University’s Life Sciences Cohort 19, and has been accepted into prestigious, fully funded translational science programs at institutes ranging from Babson to Tulane to Harvard. He is also a former NIH fellow with the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences where he led research on AI in healthcare.

He has designed and taught undergraduate and MBA courses on technology commercialization, mentored over 20 startups, and sits on the boards of four others. These experiences position him as a leading voice in student-focused biotech entrepreneurship.

The founding of BMTT (Biomedical Think-Tank) reflects Parker’s mission to democratize access to startup-building tools and clinical innovation. His goal is to empower students—especially those without institutional support—to launch impactful solutions and reshape the future of care.
