Some Frequently Asked Questions and their Answers

Q). What distinguishes our venture studio from the other 3,000 new ones?

A). We are at the forefront of a novel approach to venture creation. Our model is neither a conventional venture firm nor a traditional venture studio. We introduce the concept of a ‘feeding studio,’ a unique hybrid that stands apart in the ecosystem of startup development.

Q). Could you elaborate on what a ‘feeding studio’ is?

A). A feeding studio, our specialized model, focuses on identifying market gaps, engineering innovative solutions, and validating these markets. Once this foundational process is complete, we strategically align the newly developed startups with one of three pathways:
1. Integration with full-service or large venture studios,
2. Partnership with capable and experienced founders, or
3. Collaboration with manufacturers for production and scale.

Q). How does operating as a feeding studio offer advantages over traditional venture studios?

A). The feeding studio model presents several key advantages. Primarily, it allows for a broader operational scope and the ability to handle a larger volume of projects. Unlike traditional venture studios that often specialize in a niche area and develop 2-5 startups annually, our feeding studio model can embrace a more diverse range of projects and at a higher frequency. Specializing in early-stage development, primarily focused on problem identification and initial prototyping, our approach enables us to cast a wider net. This model, heavily reliant on student participation, allows for extremely lean operations, facilitating rapid ideation and pivoting with significantly reduced risk.
