Parker Brewster is a distinguished entrepreneur and innovator with a profound commitment to positively transforming the world. His entrepreneurial journey began in high school, where he developed a groundbreaking alternative to angioplasty. This invention, which has since been awarded a utility patent, was the cornerstone for his first venture, Innovative Heart Technologies, where he served as founder and CEO.

Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Biomedical applications, Parker is currently completing his PhD in Biomedical Engineering. In parallel, he contributes as the Vice President of Research and Development for a company pioneering the design of new drug delivery implants.

Parker’s vast experience encompasses roles as both a participant and mentor in accelerator programs, paid and volunteer work with venture capital firms, and a notable fellowship with the National Institutes of Health (specifically within the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences).

These experiences have equipped him to mentor students, provide consultancy to startups, drive forward-thinking innovation, and develop comprehensive undergraduate and MBA courses centered on launching technology ventures. To date, Parker has successfully mentored over 20 startups and holds board positions in four additional companies.

The founding of BMTT (Biomedical Think-Tank) represents Parker’s vision to introduce and nurture clinical entrepreneurship within students from all backgrounds. His goal is to leverage this platform to commence life-saving interventions for patients, embodying his commitment to harnessing innovation for the greater good.
